This bowl was hand thrown and carved. At 3 1/8" tall and 5" wide, it will easily hold 50 gram balls of yarn, and many 100 gram balls as well (photo shows it holding a 60 gram cake).. There is a swirl carved in one side so that you can remove your project from the bowl at any time, and the other side has simply a hole, in case you want a more secure attachment to the bowl and you know you won't want to remove your project before completion.

Price reduced because glaze ran and sealed off the swirl where you would remove your yarn. I was able to use my dremel to remove the excess glaze, and now it's not as smooth as it would otherwise be. It's still smooth enough to not catch yarn, but it's imperfect, so price is reduced.
